Where it goes
We are a small outreach, so giving here does not disappear into overhead. It turns into the specific, unglamorous things that help a person in crisis today.
It becomes a meal
The most ordinary thing we do, and the one people remember: something hot, handed over without conditions.
It keeps the lights on
A past due light or water bill paid, or rent covered before an eviction goes through. The cheapest moment to help a family is before they lose the apartment.
It becomes supplies
Blankets, dry clothes, basics for a family that left home with nothing. Small things that make a night survivable.
It becomes time
The hours nobody funds — sitting with someone in recovery, teaching a GED class, making calls with a family, showing up again next week.
